VINTAGE AUBURN FOOTBALL PROGRAMS
The Auburn Tiger Football program is known to have some of the most popular game programs in the nation. A lot of prominent folks around Auburn credit the game program history to artist Phil Neel. For a mere 50 cents and starting back in the 1950's, Phil Neel was contracted by Auburn University to create comic covers depicting the upcoming Saturday game always making fun of AU's opponent. You can see the early phases of Aubie and how he finally came about. Auburn had its share of bland vintage game programs for sure as well. Most of the early 1940's through the mid-1950's depicted front covers that were more from Norman Rockwell than a sports artist or photographer.
These now vintage Auburn football programs bring top dollar from avid Auburn collectors nationwide. Found on Auburn collector sites, ebay, and many others, the vintage Auburn programs are fun to search and find! Send us picks of your favoriate vintage auburn football program and we will post it!
